Best Polymer Producers Awards for Europe 2020

Best Polymer Producers Awards for Europe 2020 VOTING OPEN NOW

Don’t miss the chance to rate your polymer suppliers

The Polymers for Europe Alliance has launched the 2020 voting for the Best Polymer Producers for Europe Awards. Choose your language by clicking on a flag below.

All users of polymers in Europe can access this online customer satisfaction survey - free of charge and in strict confidence - and rate their suppliers' performances during the past 12 months. Due to the exceptional circumstances in the first half of this year that severely affected the entire plastics industry, the Polymers for Europe Alliance has taken the decision to extend the voting period for the 2020 edition of the Best Polymer Producers for Europe Awards until the 11th of September 2020.

“The Best Polymer Producers Awards were created in 2016 to re-establish a constructive dialogue and a good communication between suppliers and users of polymers in Europe. The fact that we are now organising the fifth edition with a growing number of voters every year is a clear indicator of the awards’ success.” Said Ron Marsh, Chairman of the Polymers for Europe Alliance.

The rating tool is easy to understand, extremely user-friendly and provided in several languages in order to reach as many polymer users in Europe as possible. In case you do not yet have an account on the Polymers for Europe Alliance, you can register for free here: to get your exclusive access to the rating tool.

Awards Ceremony during EuPC Gala Dinner

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Europe, there will be no award ceremony this year. The winners will be exclusively announced online on the 17th September 2020.

How does the Awards voting work?

Once you have accessed the rating tool, you can choose your suppliers in each of the different polymer type categories HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, PC, PET, PP, PS & EPS, PVC, ABS, EVA, and Specialty Polymers. Once selected, you can then rate them according to the 5 criteria Delivery Reliability, Polymer Quality, Communication, Innovation, and Circularity.

Based on the average of the incoming ratings, the best European polymer suppliers per polymer type will be awarded. Furthermore, an overarching award on Circularity, covering all polymer types, will given away.

About Polymers for Europe Alliance

The Alliance was initiated by the European Plastics Converters association (EuPC) during its General Assembly in May 2015. It is an online, confidential information platform open to all parties who have an interest in the competitive conversion of polymers in Europe. Its objectives are to provide factual public information on the status of the polymer supply situation in Europe and to re-establish a constructive dialogue with the supply base.

Initiatives of the Alliance include the annual Best Polymer Producers Awards for Europe as well as several studies like an exploratory industry study to assess the level of competitiveness of the European plastics converting industry.
