Members of Polymers for Europe Alliance choose the best polymer producers in Europe

Following the cancellation of the traditional award ceremony and extension of the voting period due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Polymers for Europe Alliance is finally announcing the winners of the 2020 Best Polymer Producers Awards for Europe.

The ‘Plastics Circularity Multiplier’ group invites you to attend its three-day online conference on the 14th - 15th - 16th of October 2020 between 10.00 - 12.30 CET.

In the framework of its 3rd survey on the use of recycled plastic materials (rPM) by plastics converters in Europe, EuPC publishes a follow-up questionnaire on the effects of COVID-19. This follow-up questionnaire is designed to collect first-hand information on the effect that the COVID-19 pandemic had on plastics converters in Europe and their use of recycled polymers.

With its latest agreement on the new Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) and coronavirus recovery fund, the European Council has also approved the implementation of the so-called plastic tax as of the 1st of January 2021. The plan foresees a €0.80/kg levy on non-recycled plastic packaging waste to be paid by member states into the EU budget.
